Terms of consultation

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply when you use this website or book an Engine Pathhub consultation. A service agreement is formed only when we confirm the scope, fee, and appointment in writing. Website information is general and is not legal advice.

2. Our services

We provide employment concern consultations, document organisation, chronology preparation, and practical referral support. We are not a law firm and do not represent clients, submit claims, contact employers, or provide binding legal opinions. You remain responsible for decisions, deadlines, and obtaining regulated advice where needed.

3. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, disclose known deadlines, send only material you are entitled to share, and redact unrelated third-party data. You must not use the service to harass, mislead, or obtain confidential employment records improperly.

4. Fees and appointments

Fees, VAT treatment, document limits, and delivery dates are confirmed before work starts. Payment is due as stated in the confirmation. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules are set out in our refund policy.

5. Intellectual property

We retain copyright in our website text, checklists, and consultation formats. On full payment, you may use deliverables prepared specifically for you for your personal employment matter. You may not resell or publish templates or materials without written permission.

6. Liability

We perform agreed services with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by German law, we are not liable for indirect loss, employer decisions, missed deadlines you did not disclose, or outcomes of legal or internal processes. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory statutory rights.

7. Availability and termination

We may decline or end an engagement where the matter is outside scope, information is misleading, instructions are unlawful, a conflict arises, payment is overdue, or the working relationship cannot continue responsibly. Fees for completed work remain due.

8. Governing law

German law governs these terms. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Where legally permitted, Munich is the place of jurisdiction.
